Head of Household Program

Head of Household is a program that addresses the global impact of fatherless homes. We believe in preventing abandonment as well as restoring pride and dignity through accountability and mirror mentorship. The fathers in our program receive weekly in person guidance and assistance through workshops that focus on fatherhood, employment, financial responsibility and breaking generational curses through personal development.

We believe that real actionable change comes from bold actions such as a change in environment as well as a change in appearance which is why each man receives a free new suit when they enter our program. It is our foundation for the reaction of change that when you look different you feel different and when you know better you do better. 

The Community Solution that Head of Household provides is reaching fathers that are new to fatherhood or have been absent or inactive in the lives they have created. This program holds fathers accountable while facing new responsibilities as well as the shame and disappointment from past decisions that led to not being present or taking responsibility. We understand that many of the fathers in our communities have existed through a generational blind leading the blind. 

Our program stops these patterns by meeting each father where they are at and giving them the tools to become leaders in their Home as well as their community. We place value on fathers that never had one; that is how our fathers learn to prioritize what’s important by being treated like they are important. 

Each father in our program can change his employment standing (felony included), His financial house, and his overall mindset of what it means to be a father and be present. When young adults have consistent love and leadership in their home, the decisions they make for their life are heavily impacted. The community receives them differently and it instills a foundation of safety, certainty, and comfort in knowing who and where you come from. 

Change is hard. Incarceration is hard. This is an opportunity for each man to choose his hard. We believe that when you know better you do better.

We believe there is nothing you cant come back from as long as accountability, humility and gratitude are the foundation for change. We take every step with you through your transformation and we will be standing next to you as you attempt the final piece towards forgiveness.
